How to locate coordinates

This section explains how to locate coordinates of a specific point on the map or delimit a rectangular area on the map to set the Max Latitude, Min Latitude, Max Longitude, Min Longitude coordinates in the Location section in the single SimpleChat Configuration entry record   

How to locate coordinates of a specific point on the map

First option:

1. Navigate to https://www.mapdevelopers.com/geocode_tool.php
2. Enter the full address in the search box and click Find Address

The latitude and longitude of the point you searched for is displayed in the Latitude and Longitude fields respectively

Second option:

1. Navigate to https://www.google.com/maps
2. Enter the address you want to locate in the search box:
3. Right-click on a point on the map and select from the menu that opens the What's Here?
4. At the bottom of the screen a window will pop up where you can see the coordinates of the point:

Note: The first value is of the latitude and the second value is of the longitude of the point

How to locate coordinates that delimit a rectangular area on the map

1. Navigate to https://bboxfinder.com
2. Drag the desired area to the center of the map and use the plus and minus buttons to enlarge the area. You can also use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out
3. At the bottom right select the desired display order of the results (longitude then latitude or latitude then longitude):
4. Click the square button on the toolbar to the left of the map to delimit a rectangular area
5. Click and drag from one corner to the other corner of the area you want to delimit
6. At the bottom of the screen next to the word BOX, the coordinates will be displayed in the order of the display you selected
